Land Rover Series 2a Ambulance Camper

Land Rover Series 2a Ambulance Camper; As group company AmbulanceMed EOW, here we have for sale a very unique and interesting camper conversion. Declared manufactured 1972 and first registered 1974, this 2a has been nicely converted as the photos show.

Externally, the vehicle remains in very original order and looks fantastic. There are a plethora of period features from military times which have survived…..we like the fact that the exterior is period, but does not give away the relatively luxurious interior, hidden away!

In our Land Rover Ambulance, on opening the rear door, one is greeted to a really nice interior – it’s not your regular utilitarian job – the wood lining finish has been applied over an insulating layer, meaning it should be nice in cooler weather. Also, in our Land Rover Ambulance there are twin, electric fans in the roof for ventilation, thus avoiding condensation. An electric heater is also fitted, powered from the mains hook up. The bed arrangements are very clever – the day sofa slides out to reveal a huge double bed, which looks very inviting indeed. Under the bed, there’s more storage too. In our Ambulance the lighting is well thought out, as do the other electrics appear to be…nice electric panels and switches power the smart, low voltage lighting.

There is a lovely kitchen area with gas cooker, sink with electrically supplied water, wine cupboard, storage, in our Land Rover Ambulance etc. It’s all been thought out well and nicely fitted. Being our ambulance, the windows all have blinds fitted too, so it’s a practical conversion.

In our Land Rover Ambulance, the front cabin is smart and tidy and houses three front seats. The period 2a dash is as it should be and luxury mats are fitted.

Out on the road, the 200 TDI minus turbo gives ample power, with promises of increased reliability and economy to boot – ideal for the longer excursion. In our powerful Ambulance having four-wheel drive, this vehicle is also capable of reaching off-grid areas.

In summary, we think that this mode of our Land Rover Ambulance makes a great camper conversion without breaking the bank, besides that it’s clean and luxurious interior, fantastic bed, modern engine and general specification are a big plus in this sector. We love it! And we are sure about that you love it either!
